These new options give you complete control to change all the text areas of your site, including titles, paragraph texts, buttons, image captions and more!
With dozens of fonts to choose from, making changes may seem a little intimidating. Here are our top tips for choosing fonts to best represent you:
Consider legibility. A cursive font might look super cool, but is it easy to scan when reading four paragraphs of text? Stick with the Serif or San Serif fonts for settings like Paragraph Text or Image Captions and keep Handwritten or Decorative fonts to Titles and Headlines.
Don't go overboard. Even though we provide tons of web safe fonts to choose from, you don't want to use too many of them all on a single site. Limit yourself to between one to three font families for a more harmonious look.
Use high contrast colors. Dark text will look best against a light background and vice versa. When choosing colors for paragraph text, it's rare you'll want to use a font color outside a range of white-gray-brown-black. If you want to get more creative with your color choices, Titles and Links are the places to do so.
Consider size. For the bulk of your text a font between 14 to 20 pixels will be perfect. For Titles and other headlines choose a size somewhere in the range of 20 to 34 pixels.
