Completely customizable styles and colors to fit your site design.

Use Accordion design to wrangle unwieldy content on your website into a clickable, expandable and collapsable menu. It's the perfect element to show or hide information on demand. Use it to organize your resume or portfolio, services page, FAQ, store policies and shipping procedures, or team member bios.

Click on an Accordion menu item to expand the content. Click again to hide or close that section and continue navigating down the page. The clean interface keeps your pages short and sweet while minimizing scrolling, and looks great on both desktop and mobile screens.

Setup is simple: install the app and drag the element onto the page. Change the number of menu items displayed and choose from multiple Accordion styles, such as Simple, Boxed and Material. From there, further customize your Accordion menu to fit your site design by changing the title background and content background colors.

It is very useful, but sometimes it doesn't work at all. It doesn't open to add or to change the information inside.

Hello! You should be able to click the expand button on each section to open it for editing in your site editor. If you're still seeing any issues doing so, definitely contact our team here, so we can ensure it's cleared up for you.

Great ap, but I can't figure out how to rearrange the order of the elements in the accordion? I am using it to display a list of events and we just added a new event, so I need to make that the first on the list instead of the last one but can't figure out how to rearrange them. Please tell me how to rearrange! Thank you!

It isn't possible to re-arrange the different sections of the Accordion element right now. We could see that being useful, though! We'll share that with the rest of the team to consider for a future update to the app.

Thanks for the app, the features was attractive. When I use it I found the following: 1. The accordion can not rearrange the blocks. I need to redo it every time I have some changes. 2. The option menu popup whenever it want. Can you set it to popup when I click it only. 3. When I expand the drop down. It shows only a few lines only. I have around 30 lines content, it show the first 5-6lines and the apps don’t have a scroll bar. And no one can access the data below those lines. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the feedback Simon! We'll definitely be keeping an eye on the arrangement options for future releases. If content in your sections isn't appearing live, you may want to get in touch with support directly, as that shouldn't happen in the current version.

This app looked like the quick fix I needed on my site, but I tried to nest a drop-down within a drop-down, and the subsection could only handle 11 lines of text. There was no internal scroll to the section, so more than half of the nested content was inaccessible. I'll have to find another solution now until this gets fixed.

    Accordion Mar 06, 2017

Thanks for the review, Elissa. Just to clarify, you had added an Accordion element within another Accordion element?

It does the job but it's a pain. If you want to delete a section (to go from, say, 4 blocks to 3), it decides for you which one gets deleted - and you can't re-order the blocks - so you pretty much have to rebuild the accordion if you want to make changes later. And, as others have stated, you're locked into caps in the titles, something easily fixed via css - but why not put ten minutes more into these apps to make them work as the average person might expect? It'd be nice if weebly actually tried to exercise even a little bit of quality control.

Thank you very much for your feedback! We'll be more than glad to look into these issues for future releases.

Pretty great for a free add-on. Is there an ability (CSS?) to expand a specific section based on a hyperlink elsewhere on the website? Right now I can only link to the page with the accordion, I'd like to expand automatically to improve user experience.

    Accordion Mar 03, 2017

Hello! We don't currently provide a way to link a specific section in that manner, though it is certainly an idea worth considering!

this is a great addition to my site! Just one thing i found that is kind of frustrating that when you are on mobile and you try to scroll then just by touching the accordion it opens (it should open by clicking on it). Makes it very frustrating to scroll. also changing font color would be kind of nice. Otherwise great app!
