Use Accordion design to wrangle unwieldy content on your website into a clickable, expandable and collapsable menu. It's the perfect element to show or hide information on demand. Use it to organize your resume or portfolio, services page, FAQ, store policies and shipping procedures, or team member bios.
Click on an Accordion menu item to expand the content. Click again to hide or close that section and continue navigating down the page. The clean interface keeps your pages short and sweet while minimizing scrolling, and looks great on both desktop and mobile screens.
Setup is simple: install the app and drag the element onto the page. Change the number of menu items displayed and choose from multiple Accordion styles, such as Simple, Boxed and Material. From there, further customize your Accordion menu to fit your site design by changing the title background and content background colors.

It will work with two or more items but blanks out when you go to just one. I reached out to waddons with no response yet. ** 11/6/25 It appears to be working again

Masaru Takeyama Nov 06, 2025Seems like the single-line accordion functionality itself has come back in order today. However, the data contained has been all deleted. I am now trying to restore the content by copying and pasting one by one from the published source code. I have to spend a lot of working time. Their technical support does not support you at all on this outage, although it must have been caused by their mal-operation. I think their engineering and technical support resources are too poor as a CMS hosting provider. I will consider to migrate to another hosting platform soon or later.

One day you just decided to delete, without any warning, all the accordions with all our data inside, which means hours of work for everyone of us. And after that you could not restore the texts that were in the accordions!!! Thank you Weebly for the inconvenience!

Josh S Oct 29, 2025WARNING - DO NOT USE. As other users (Paul Birch, etc.) noted, the Oct update erased all single-item accordions. This bug has cost our business $7,905+ Square's a nightmare: - Engineer Frank misrepresented on Oct 22, saying it was "resolved." IT IS NOT. - Manager Lee HUNG UP ON US when we escalated for financial compensation. - Manager Diane apologized for Lee's behavior and has been silent since Oct 17. They're aware and is letting it remain because we can "use 2+ drawers instead of only one" when we pay for tiered support and functioning elements/apps in paid plans. It's abandonware.

Jose Palmieri Oct 27, 2025Good luck getting any help from Square. They stopped supporting Weebly in July and eventually will drop it for good. Look for a new home for your websites, in Square itself or elsewhere. In the meantime, you may find a recent copy of your website in the Wayback Machine. Copy and paste your content back. I lost close to 1,000 audio links and was able to restore them.

Paul Birch Oct 27, 2025Any accordion with one item was completely erased and unrecoverable, completely out of the blue. Weebly support was useless and admitted they don't advertise or support "their" apps properly. The developer has a lot to answer for.

Michele Goodman Oct 26, 2025Been using this for a number of years and all of a sudden it is broken. I lost hours and hours of work. And now I have to completely re-design the pages I had used it on. There is no apparent fix so don't use it.
