Start Selling Merchandise with Printful

If you've ever thought about selling merchandise online — or you're simply looking for an easier way to fill current orders — consider using Printful as your drop shipping fairy godmother.

Printful is Weebly's only print-on-demand app. Here's how it works: You sell a t-shirt, hat or other item with your design to an excited customer via your online shop. As soon as the customer hits the "buy" button, the order is automatically sent to Printful.

Next, the order is professionally printed, packaged with your branding and logo, and shipped directly to your customer. You get a notification and tracking number when the order ships and your customer gets the shipment in 3 to 5 days. (Delivery times can be even faster depending on your shipping method.) If the carrier causes any damage during shipping, Printful picks up the tab.

Create Multiple Designs

Printful is easy to use for selling merchandise online, has no upfront costs or monthly fees and fully integrates with Weebly. You can send your own designs to Printful or take advantage of their in-house design services if you need some extra help or inspiration.

The platform also provides a free mockup generator so that you can see exactly how your design will look on any product you select. You can order samples of your finished products at a 20% discount to see firsthand what your customers will receive. Printful additionally sends you professional-grade photos of your finished product that you can directly upload to your Weebly store. Beyond t-shirts and hats, you can create over 200 different products, including sweatshirts, leggings, phone cases, posters, socks, mugs, totes and pillows.

Freelance artist Chester Olnes, uses Printful and Weebly for selling merchandise such as shirts, hats and phone cases by mail, in addition to providing a separate hand-delivery service for local customers.

Set Your Price

The platform lets you decide the end price of your products in order to set your own profit margins. If Printful charges you $8.95 for a t-shirt, for example, and you sell it to customers for $19.95, you'll earn a profit of $11.00 per t-shirt. The company recommends that you set a minimum profit margin of 30 percent for your products.

It's easy to integrate Printful with your website or store: Simply click the Add button to create a free account. Next, upload your print files and sync any existing products that you would like Printful to fulfill, or create new products with the product generator. Set up your billing process and you're ready to open your eCommerce doors for business.

Ship Your Own Products

If you have Printful and non-Printful products and you want to ship them together — or just don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping your own products— Printful separately offers a new Warehousing and Fulfillment program for any Weebly site interested in selling merchandise online. You can store your entire inventory at the company's warehouses in North Carolina and Europe (with a Los Angeles option coming soon) and easily sync it with your site. Printful will fulfill all your shipping orders and send them directly to your customers, which can help you save both time and space.

Whether you're thinking about selling merchandise for the first time, or are simply looking to make it easier to fulfill orders, Printful offers an easy way to get started on your eCommerce adventure. We're really excited about this new integration, so please share your feedback on Printful and Weebly in the comments!
