We've put plenty of integrations in for clients. Podio forms, Typeforms, WebMerge integrations, Zapier integrations, mailing list sign-ups etc.

We love the innovative options!

What is there is really good. I would say work on that blogging software, and make sure that it will post without having to hit the update button six times. What about a developer network? Where individuals could make their own themes and share it out with the people who edit them.

I agree. Any time you have a text box selected in a post and then click update (or post), it eliminates the changes in that box. You have to click out of the text box first.

This is really cool. One thing that Weebly could benefit from is more styling options within the WYSIWYG editor.

Sure, CSS can accomplish this. But since most Weebly users lack HTML/CSS skills, doing so can be extremely beneficiary. Small body styling options such as changing the background of tables or columns.

Also, blogging improvements would be welcome. Weebly has a great site system but a fairly poor blogging management system compared to alternatives. Implementations such as a "top posts" widget would really help create a more dynamic and user interactive blogging platform.

I agree! The blogging platform needs major improvements to keep up with the popular widgets and designs of competitors. Maybe a "you might also like" widget as well! I don't want to move to wordpress, but might have to if no improvements are made!

I agree that it would be great to be able to change the background color of a table or column. The block quote isn't very effective when there's something important that you want to emphasize.

But what I would appreciate more than anything is a forum where we could go for advice and answers to questions. That would be so helpful.

There used to be a large forum called Weebly forums, managed by a third party (not by Weebly directly). It was a great addition to Weebly where users could share advice, templates, styles...etc. I don't know why but for some reason they shut down and the website is now unreachable.

But yeah, I completely agree. A forum where Weebly users could come together similar to Weebly Forums would be an incredible edition. Not to mention that it would serve as an incredible tool to attract more folks to Weebly.

I agree, blogging needs to be improved, it has been many years that I have been using Weebly for blogging but I haven't seen so many updates.

It would be great to see a dropdown options for the Archives and Categories just like in Wordpress. I have been blogging here since 2010 and the archive is getting longer and longer without the dropdown feature. Also, sub-categories would be a great addition.

Another wonderful addition is a "like" button similar to Squarespace's that will not need for my readers to log-in or be a member to be able to "heart" or "like" a post.

I have read that a lot of bloggers I think have been asking for these kinds of features over and over, but it really has never happened. It seems like that the simple blogging features aren't present and isn't engaging our readers.

I want to stay with you Weebly 'coz I have seen the growth but pls. listen to these simple requests from bloggers. It looks like you guys are more focused on the complicated stuffs. Just sayin'.

Add a single line index (of titles) listing page option for your blog entries that could also be set up to filter on or display a specific Tag/Category.

I would expect to see the most requested features e.g
1)More furnished template for ecommerce
2)Automated similar item link under product view
3)Multiple color column options
4)Table contents
5)Ebay and Amazon integration
6)Ratings system
7)More shipping option including live shipping carriers rates
8)Print shipping label from store
9)More picture edit features
10)Of course all these features available in weebly designer paltform

List is really long. I am not sure how many years I need to wait to get these features. Good luck weebly.

I second all of your suggestions! I would also add a bulk product editor. It takes too long to edit titles and descriptions on over 1200 items!

Excellent point, that's been a problem for me and I have a lot fewer products. Weebly is awfully clunky. Very few options and versatility when it wouldn't be all that tough to allow some features. Change colors, place images where you want, text where I want, you can't even change fonts or colors of fonts in many places. It's really sort of ridiculous. There are good points, but there are way too many things at Weebly that need improvement. Maybe they're working on it!!! HOPE!!!!

Great List. If I could add one more wish list item it would be to have a separate field in the checkout so that a customer can insert their information as a purchaser AND have a separate file to include a different name and address for shipping. Many of our customers send items as gifts and need a separate area to include a recipient name and address for delivery.

I agree totally! So many features of Weebly are static, limited, confining and stark. ESPECIALLY commerce. A bit more wiggle room to be creative and catch our customer's eyes would be appreciated greatly. AND the help sections at Weebly are missing SO MANY THINGS. It's taking me months longer to set up my site than it should simply because I have to figure most of it out myself or call or write for help and wait days.

I would like to see better blog "skins" or designs. Also would like to see Weebly integrate CDN to improve load time and better Google Page developer scores for their future templates. Maybe update some of the older templates to be responsive.

While this isn't directly relevant, there is one big feature I want from Weebly. It would completely overhaul how I operate my site for the better, and I genuinely believe it is the single biggest omission from the current builder.

I want better URL structuring. We've already seen big improvements in blogging, but I want to go further.

My website that I am currently building will host numerous video game walkthroughs, in text and picture formats. It is appropriate to split these up over numerous (100s) of pages to help loading times and organisation. My issue lies with the URL structure. Allow me to illustrate using a menu structure:

Home (mysite.com)
- Guides (mysite.com/guides)
-- Game 1 (mysite.com/game1)
---- Part 1 (mysite.com/part1)

Here's how I'd like it to be (optional if users don't want this)

Home (mysite.com)
- Guides (mysite.com/guides/)
-- Game 1 (mysite.com/guides/game1)
----- Part 1 (mysite.com/guides/game1/part1)

A secondary feature I would like is the ability to "collapse" the menu layout on the pages tab in the editor. So for example, if I have a root with 100 sub-pages, there would be a toggle icon on the root to "hide" the 100 sub-pages. This would vastly improve navigation.

I'm aware these features probably only impact my uses, but I believe they are glaring omissions from the already brilliant service.

No it's not just you; I have some of the same issues. Hard to reorganize pages when you can't collapse all the sub-pages. So that's a small feature that would really help.

James, optional is right on the URL structures, because the big challenge with this is the fact that, if you MOVE a page in the tree, it's then no longer at the original URL. I know you can do a 401 redirect, but I love that moving pages now doesn't change their URL.

Also, not sure if your option would ALSO mean it could be found without the entire tree URL, and if so you have some SEO issues with duplicate pages.

As you said though ... making it optional could work. But where there were once SEO benefits to more keywords in the URL (which your option might give you), this is basically negligible now.

Separate email notifications when orders are placed would be great!
I am the owner of many e-commerce sites and I have to FORWARD the emails to my clients. I would love for them to be able to receive the information without having to go through me.

I prefer to have a native comment system instead disqus or facebook... Improve it!!

I´d like, for example, to see all the comments in regular blog, below each post (and without having to open a new page)

Or disable the option to put a webpage in the comment form (I´m a teacher, I work with kids)

Or be able to include images in the comment

etc.

I wish you would fix the themes you have. A good 50% have flaws from the shopping carts being so large you cannot add more than 5 items to not being able to change the font colors. Also the background photos many times go black and will not upload properly. I don't understand why you put themes up that are not ready to perform. Check out the Saucy Theme. If I order more than 5 items I cannot go to the check out button and it will not move down.

Hi Sara,

If you would like a wider variety of themes, there are many third party providers (such as us www.luminousthemes.com) which sell themes that have more features and design than regular Weebly themes and are just as easy to install. There are also many ther third party theme providers, so Weebly isn't your only option :)

However, going back to the issue, sometimes the image with the black background may be a result of uploading a .png image with a transparent background into Weebly, then editing it. A solution would be to edit the image with a third party image editing software like Photoshop prior to uploading the image. Its a bug that many users face.

I appreciate the progress and integration of these platforms, however why do we have to choose between, default, OR Disqus OR Facebook? Why not allow people to comment as they please?

I like the default method because it allows to collect emails but the other platforms may be more inviting for posters. So I don't like to having to choose between the three. There should be like in many sites the option to let the poster of the comment to choose.

On a separate subject seeing there are many of you here who understand a fair bit of technical things, can you let me know how I can change a typo on the SEO title? I corrected in Weebly but when I paste the article link to my FB page for instance, the typo still shows and I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't right on the name of the place I'm talking about thus messing up the SEO. Thank you in advance.

Theme / Plugins Market and real Developer Documentation that should be there right from the start. If Weebly community had this than everything would improve. We would have many great ideas in a reach of a button thanks to all 3rd party service providers etc.

I use Google Calendar to post my upcoming events. It seamlessly imports calendar events into my web site so I don't need to touch the web site to update it.

how about being able to edit the HTML document code directly to be able to do things that the WYSIWYG editor can't do.

And some people use their website for donations and not everything is for ecommerce! Take that into consideration when bundling features like memberships. Why pay an extra $23/month just to use the membership feature?

Options are various to integrate paypal and other credit card processors. I wish weebly could give an option of adding other payment options and credit card processors. i myself prefer ccnow.com as a payment option.
